Kelcas Corporation and Kelcas Well Services have been in continuous operation for more than two decades in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
In the fall of 2000, Kelcas was purchased by Mr. Wilhelm Lilliehook of Stockholm, Sweden. Mr. Lilliehook expanded the staff with a team of seasoned oil and gas professionals including operations managers, office staff, drillers, rig hands, and field pumpers. Since then, Mr. Lilliehook has expanded the staff to include Geologists and Engineers with proven track records in the Oil and Gas Industry. Kelcas capabilities include drilling, exploration, and development activities.

During mid 2008, when the price of oil peaked, Kelcas sold most of its production to the largest private owner operator in the Illinois basin. Kelcas continued selling off production during 2009 and invested in new exploratory projects in the Illinois Basin.

Kelcas Corporation leases the right to explore part of the Ohio River. Several interesting areas have been identified using basic geology and advanced geophysical testing as having potential commercial oil reserves.
Kelcas is exploring this potential by implementing its proven methodology.
